The Donk’s weekend tip # 2

The Donk returns to give us his betting tip for the weekend’s games…

Everton to beat West Ham, Man City to beat Aston Villa (double, 2/1)

Everton vs West Ham: West Ham have had an awful season and currently lie bottom of the division with just one away win from 11 games. Their last two games have seen them suffer an 8-0 aggregate loss, including a 5-0 thumping away to Newcastle. The Donk doesn’t see results improving on their trip up to Goodision, and although David Moyes’s boys are in desperate need of a striker, The Donk still feels Everton will be to strong for west ham. Bar Scott Parker, they look a very weak outfit indeed.

Aston Villa vs Man City: The second part of my bet is Man City to beat Aston Villa. City are a side improving all the time, and less than a month ago thrashed Villa 4-0 at the City of Manchester Stadium. City have the second best away record in the league, second only to Arsenal, and after a solid defensive performance last in their last away game at the emirates, The Donk can see City pushing forward more tomorrow and coming away with the points. As for Villa, with the huge capture of Darren Bent still fresh in fans’ minds, there’ll be a good atmosphere at Villa Park tomorrow. But The Donk just can’t see that being enough to turnaround a side that lie just one point clear of relegation, with only one win in 6 games and the scond worst goal difference in the league.
